Consumer Youth Bangladesh (CYB) is a national youth organisation working on consumer rights, led by Palash Mahmud as President for about nine years. As the youth wing of the Conscious Consumers Society (CCS), CYB organises and mobilises young people across the country for the consumer rights movement.
As President he builds networks of student volunteers at universities and colleges, runs training in consumer awareness and leadership development, and nurtures a rights-conscious sense of citizenship among the youth. Through CYB, countless young people have joined the movement for consumer rights, food safety and fair markets.
